F-GAS REGULATIONS

Most commercial and industrial refrigeration, air-conditioning systems and heat pump equipment use man made fluorinated gases (F gases) to operate which can have a damaging affect on the environment if allowed to leak out into the atmosphere.

F-gas regulations have been introduced by many countries including the UK to protect the environment from these damaging effects, and as such users and operators of such equipment are obliged under UK and EU law to monitor and maintain their equipment in accordance with the rules stated in the F gas regulations.
